First the toning is a gorgeous ice blue with peach, violet and red accompaniments. A close look at the denticles reveal beautiful violet tipping, with some transitions to deep blue. The luster is amazing and gives the toning real Pop the bowl shaped obverse creates luster that is off the charts even for an 81-S.

The reverse on the coin is equally lustrous but with the added attraction of also being mirrored. All in all its just so much more than the PCGS photo shows.
