PS The Artex Harridge's Collection is named after my paternal grandfather's Ontario, Canada ladies department store chain - Harridge's, which he founded after completing his education in retail in New York City, in commerce at University of Toronto, and at Upper Canada College (Jackson's House) while serving in the UCC Military Officer Cadets in WW2.
It is also named after my paternal great-grandfather's Ontario, Canada clothing manufacturing and ladies department store chain - Artex/Lady Ellis, who was also a University of Toronto commerce graduate, which made woollens for the Canadian military in World War 2, continuing on the tradition started by his uncles and their father, who converted their King Suspender Company factories to make uniform pieces for the Canadian military in World War 1, and leased Eaton's factory space to make tents for the Canadian military, while the uncles served overseas in the Great War. These members of my family joined other members of my paternal and maternal family in military service in both wars Royal Canadian Air Force transferred to Royal Air Force, University of Toronto Canadian Officer Training Corps - Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps, and others.
