1883-O Morgan Silver Dollar graded at MS 64 by NGC. This is a really nice near gem uncirculated coin for any collector especially those that are looking to build their collection with a uniquely toned coin with fabulous eye appeal. This specimen has extremely unique "bulls-eye" toning on the reverse highlighting the eagle as though it's luminated with a spot light in a dark setting. While all toning is unique, this one is a kind of it's own that you don't see much.
To highlight the distinctively unique toning, this coin is reverse mounted and carries the (star) designation because of the tremendous eye appeal. Feel free to request other photos and we'd be happy to provide. We shot a few sets on this one with different lighting characteristics but no filtering or doctoring - all natural photos! As is the case with many originally toned coins, this one isn't easy to capture it's entire natural beauty.Note: A couple photos exacerbate some fine scratches THAT ARE ON THE HOLDER. Our camera picked these up and we assure you that these scratches do not appear as significant with either the naked eye or 5x glass.
Silver Fineness & Coin Composition: 90% Silver & 10% Copper. Spectacular unique bulls-eye toning with the coin reverse mounted to highlight it's appeal. Nice surfaces and device elements for the grade.
Very clean coin absent significant distractions especially with the naked eye!
