The Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar programs were relaunched in 2021 and were immediately popular with collectors. They symbolize two important eras in the development of the Nation.

The Morgan Dollars represented the country's westward expansion and industrial development in the late 19th century, while the Peace Dollars reflect a nation taking its place among major world powers. Together these coins vividly illustrate important periods in our Nation's development.

The 2023 obverse design features Liberty in profile. A cap, flora and a crown incused with the word "LIBERTY" adorn her head, while 13 stars, "E PLURIBUS UNUM, " and the date of issuance encircle her.

The 2023 reverse design depicts an eagle with outstretched wings clasping arrows and an olive branch, accompanied by a wreath. Reverse inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " "IN GOD WE TRUST, " and ONE DOLLAR. The Morgan Dollar Proof & Reverse Proof Coins bears the "S" mint mark reflecting it's striking at the San Francisco Mint. The uncirculated version was minted in Philadelphia & bears no Mint Mark. 1.500 inches (38.10 mm).
